Event Details

A special day-long program offering professional and personal development for photographers of all ages and skill levels. Participants will deepen their artistic abilities while learning to create images with social, cultural or environmental significance and impact.

9:30 am--The Legacy of Lewis Hine and the Origins of Advocacy Photography: Michael Cooney

10:30am--The Lewis Hine Honors Presentation-- 50 Years of Image Making: Jim Koepnick

11:15 am--High Performance Photography: Chris Hibben

12:00--Lunch--Pizza Buffet in A/B Room

1:00 pm--Street Photography: New York, Chicago, Oshkosh: Jim Koepnick & Monty Montgomery

1:45 pm--Concert and Movie Photography: Dave Burke

2:00 pm--Breakout Session: Photoshoot! Literary Characters in the Stacks with the Oshkosh Community Players: Madysen Schmidt and Kathey Bechard

3:15 pm--Wrap up & How to be part of the Oshkosh Public Library Digital Archive

 

 

 

The library will be closed on Wed., Dec. 24 and Thurs., Dec. 25 for Christmas. On Wed., Dec. 31, the library will close early at 5 p.m. and will remain closed on Thurs., Jan. 1 for New Year's Day.
