Join Minneapolis-based teaching artists Spencer and Lizz from In the Heart of the Beast Puppet & Mask Theatre for a hands-on mask-making workshop inspired by Dia De Los Muertos traditions. In this two hour workshop, participants will craft colorful Alebrije and Sugar Skull masks out of paper and craft materials.
Participants are invited to bring their handmade masks and take part in a storytelling performance led by Spencer and Lizz at the 4th Annual Dia De Los Muertos at Oshkosh Public Museum.
Since 1973, In the Heart of the Beast Puppet and Mask Theatre has helped to create and cultivate the puppetry community, bringing stories to life through art and performance.
