Searching the population schedules of the US census is a common first step for genealogists.  But beyond what Heritage Quest or Ancestry will show, there were sometimes as many as FIVE more schedules of information gathered!  And contrary to the listing on one of Ancestry's opening screens online, they are not all part of the online resources.  Former Oshkosh Public Library Local History librarian Mara Munroe will show us samples of what we can learn about a family, or even a community.

The library will be closed on Wed., Dec. 24 and Thurs., Dec. 25 for Christmas. On Wed., Dec. 31, the library will close early at 5 p.m. and will remain closed on Thurs., Jan. 1 for New Year's Day.
