Digitization Station
Oshkosh Public Library is pleased to offer a Digitization Station for public use that offers:
VHS, Slide, & Film Conversion
Convert positive slides or negative film to digital and then save on a USB flash drive. Convert VHS to a digital equivalent, either on a USB or DVD. USBs can be purchased at the reference desk for $1 (124 MB) or $2.50 (4 GB). Blank DVDs can be purchased for $1. Conversion is available by appointment only.
Patron provides source media and is responsible for respecting copyright law.
Document & Image Scanning
The Oshkosh Public Library has a dedicated scanner available that can quickly and easily create high quality scans of documents and images. Scan to USB storage, cloud storage, a mobile device, or email.
If needed, USB’s can be purchased at the reference desk for $1 (124 MB) or $2.50 (4 GB). Available formats include PDF, JPG, and JPEG.
All 3 copier locations also have standard scanning capabilities on the copiers, which do not require an appointment.
