Join us in Lower Level AB on August 21st to discuss Ginseng Roots. Cartoonist Craig Thompson’s accidental memoir.
Ginseng Roots interweaves Thompson’s youth picking ginseng in rural Wisconsin with the history of the plant and all the lives touched by the it. A part of Wisconsin history not discussed enough!
Join us to discuss our thoughts on this amazing memoir. You can pick up a copy of this month’s graphic novel at House of Heroes, 407 N Main Street, or check it out at the library.
