Are you and your child ready to take our 1000 Books Reading Challenge? This challenge is designed for children ages 0-5. The program will help you make a habit out of reading, writing, talking, singing, and playing with your young child.

AWE Stations provide internet-free learning through pre-loaded apps on touch screen computers. Kids can choose any S.T.E.A.M. topic to play fun learning games. Find our AWE Stations in Youth Services in the Lower Level. No library card required.

Basket Carts

Use a basket cart while browsing at the library! We have small basket carts for children and tall basket carts for youth and adults. Find them on every floor of the library.

A bike lock to use while you are visiting the library is available for checkout at the front desk. We want to help you keep your bike safe. For at-library use only.

A Librarian and a Patron talk

Need more time with a librarian than you can get as a walk-in or over the phone? Request a Book-A-Librarian appointment. These 30-minute in-person or online sessions are designed to meet your needs at a time convenient to you.

Book club members meeting to read

We offer over 150 titles in kits for your book club. Each kit contains 8-10 copies of the book as well as a discussion guide.

Library bookstore

Our used bookstore is open every day during library hours! Donated and withdrawn books are sold to support future library purchases.

Youth Services Bulletin Board

A bulletin board in Youth Services is dedicated to items for families and educators. One bulletin board on 1st floor is for public government notices and another is for non-profit posters.

A WisGo Bus pass

Oshkosh Public Library sells and can help you re-load WisGo cards that can be used on GoTransit city busses. Visit the First Floor Circulation Desk anytime the library is open. Visit Go Transit with questions.

2nd Floor Business Center

Oshkosh Public Library has two Business Center areas, one on first floor and one on second floor, that provide in-library use supplies, including: stapler, paper cutter, 3-hole punch, lamination, and copier/scanner.

A card clinic is an opportunity to have the library come to your location to sign people up for library cards, answer questions, and listen to community needs.

Comfort Cabinet

The library has teamed up with the Day By Day Warming Shelter to create a Comfort Cabinet stocked with individual personal hygiene items.

2nd Floor Copier

Oshkosh Public Library has printing available from computers, through wireless printing, or from our copy machines. Our copy machines not only allow copying, but scanning to flash drive or e-mail as well.
